Make your way to Aberystwyth, on the west Wales coast, by the most appropriate route.

Follow the A487 coast road, signed to Cardigan.

Bypass Cardigan and follow signs to Fishguard.

Pass though the little towns of Newport and Dinas Cross

Just after the port comes into sight the road descends and winds its way down into Fishguard Lower Town (20 mph and single file traffic.)

Cross the river and climb up to the Square.

At the roundabout (with a canon in the centre) bear left up High Street, signed to Haverfordwest.

Pass Somerfield on your right.

In about about 200 yards look out for a sign to Lota Park.

Avon House is the second house on the right, with a white B&B sign.
